Embedding NeRFs or Gaussian Splats on the map

METAGEO allows you to attach / embed Nvidia Neural Radiance Fields (NeRFs) or Gaussian Splats from Luma Labs, or other service with a web sharing link.

NeRFs are a new technology for 3D scanning environments. They are relatively new and don't follow a lot of conventions that traditional 3D scanning does, and creates a photo realistic replication of scenes. You can create NeRFs using https://lumalabs.ai/ and then embed the link on a map in METAGEO.

First create a point vector layer by clicking on the pencil "edit" button on the top right of the screen, then click the draw points button, and draw the point(s) where you'd like to embed the video.

Once you've created the point, click on the point, and the right info panel menu will open. You can then change the style to change the icon if you'd like.

Scroll down go down to the links section in the info panel, and paste in a link, and be sure to click save at the top.

Now when you put your mouse over the point, it will give a preview of NeRF.
